Given that most people have not previously encountered a Live Wedding Artist, I've put together a list of commonly asked questions for your convenience.
Your questions answered:
How fast can you paint?
As I am trained in fine arts and have years of experience in drawing and painting from live models, I can paint fast. On average, I will paint four single guests or two couples per hour.
As for your Ceremony Painting, the longer, more detailed version takes 6 hours and the shorter version,3 hours. Please refer to my Packages page to see what is included in each package. Bespoke packages can also be created.
Will my guests have to pose?
To give your guests the most freedom to enjoy themselves, take in the day, and to mingle with their friends, I take photographs of the guests and paint the portraits using these as a reference.
This also means that I can complete additional paintings at my studio within 3 weeks after your wedding.
Do you keep a record of all the paintings created on the day?
Absolutely! I take photos of all the paintings and create an online gallery for you to view and share with your loved ones.
Which supplies do you use?
As a professional I use only the highest quality of materials available. It is important to me that you receive not only beautiful paintings but that the paper and paints I use are of archival quality. I use beautiful, textured 100% cotton watercolour paper and artist grade paints.
Is travel included?
Travel costs up to 30 miles from Glasgow are included. For venues 60+ miles away from Glasgow, an overnight or two might be required, at £100 per night.
