Some wedding suites carry a quiet confidence, and this design for Stephanie and Christopher’s Carlowrie Castle wedding is one of them. Their vision was inspired by soft neutrals paired with deep racing green, white and gold — a palette that felt refined, modern and beautifully suited to a Scottish wedding.
To introduce their guests to the day, we created a Luxury Gatefold Invitation featuring a hand-drawn illustration of Carlowrie Castle and a hand-drawn map of Scotland. The artwork on the front includes a hint of the iconic tree-lined driveway, adding a sense of place before the invitation is even opened. Inside, the couple chose a premium foil-pressing technique in metallic gold, applied one piece at a time for a deep, tactile impression into 100% Gmund Cotton and Colorplan papers.
Tucked alongside the invitation was a personalised map of Scotland. We adapted our existing illustrated map and added the couple’s two venues — St Bride’s RC Church in Cambuslang and Carlowrie Castle — along with a few locations meaningful to them. The colours of the map were matched carefully to their wedding palette to keep everything cohesive and elegant.
Earlier in their planning, Stephanie and Christopher also chose save the dates in the same rich palette with gold wax seals, giving their guests an early glimpse of the aesthetic to come.
